Don’t know lilac tea? You are definitely not the only one. Fresh lilac flower tea is definitely not a common drink and this is mainly due to the short flowering time of lilac flowers. But right now you have a wonderful opportunity to prepare this fragrant and exceptionally delicious tea at home. You will love it thanks to its aroma and pleasant taste, but its use offers more! It will help you even from extra pounds.

Lilac not only helps with weight loss

Lilac flowers are edible, which makes them perfect for spring cuisine. Few flowers are so nice and aromatic. It would be a shame not to use them, for many other reasons. Lilac tea is also soothing, it will help you relax and unwind not only mental but also physical tension. Lilac is therefore often used in perfumes and aromatherapy. However, the lilac scent is also pleasant to slightly irritating and promotes libido. It is no wonder that the oils are therefore wonderful for massages that help relax muscles, but also create a romantic to the intimate atmosphere.

Lilac tea speeds up metabolism

As for the consumption of lilacs, and teas, but also the flowers themselves help alleviate headaches or migraines, they can also relieve gout, sore throat and tonsils, and rheumatic problems. There is quite a lot that a lilac can do with the body, so do not hesitate and take advantage of the spring gifts of lilac flowers. They will also help you calm your stomach and harmonize digestion overall. The effect on metabolism is also used in diets and weight loss, which also pleases those who need to speed up digestion. In the spring, when the body benefits from cleansing treatments, lilac tea is an ideal drink.

You can easily prepare fragrant lilac tea

You don’t need anything special to make tea, just lilac flowers, hot water, and a teaspoon of honey. For a cup of tea, you will need about one and a half tablespoons of fresh flowers. Pour warm water over them, stir and leave to infuse for 10-15 minutes. Sweeten with honey and serve.
Lilac flowers can also be dried and used at any time of the year, but they are no longer so visually impressive.

External use of lilac

Tiling – For tiling, we use fresh flowers moistened with apple cider vinegar. We attach them wrapped in canvas for headaches or joint pains or other sore spots.

Bath – Just add fresh lilac flowers to the bath and you can enjoy a fragrant and relaxing bath. Dried flowers can also be mixed with sea salt and also used in the bath.

Lilac skin oil – Lilac acts as an antioxidant, so it slows down skin aging. In addition, it is a source of natural UVA and UVB preservatives. Lilac oil is great for preparing home cosmetics.

You can easily make lilac oil at home in the following way:

Fill a washed and dried sealable glass with ragged lilac flowers, and pour everything with any vegetable oil (for example, cold-pressed sunflower oil or almond oil is suitable).

Heat the bottle (but do not cook) in a pot of water for about half an hour.

Then we place it in a warm and sunny place and let the oil infuse for about a week.

Shake the glass regularly. Then strain the oil through a cloth into a clean, dry dark glass and store it in the refrigerator.
